Happy 21st birthday to my dearest wife!
My beloved wife turned the big 2-1 on Friday. No big celebration this year because she’s carrying the little one. Threw a mini celebration for her with my in-laws. Bought Swensen’s ice cream cake for her and mother-in-law bought lots of food.

Arrival of Guys & Gatecrashing!

The brothers!

It’s time to face the obstacles.
First up: Disposable undies!

Next up: Dance to High 5 and some Korean dance.

L.O.V.E.

We tried to bribe our way in, but failed.
So we still had to proceed on with the Korean dance.

On to the next obstacle: retrieve the ‘喜’ tiles from the bucket of ice using our feet.

The guys trying to barge in when the gate is open!
In the end, we gave in.

The ice is freaking painful, but we did it anyway.
Quiz time!

First few questions, no problem. Then comes the harder questions and each wrong answers came with punishment after punishment!

After all the punishment they served us, they finally gave us the key, frozen deep in the ice!

And we finally breached the gate!

Oh yeah! My bride!

Our Mid-way Mini Photoshoot

The brothers. (One is missing. He will be revealed at the end of this post.)
The two sisters who came along.

As you can tell, the guys are just max goofy that day and are in the mood for pictures.

Ta-dah! Our missing brother having a hangover and sleeping in the car!

Groom’s side.

Check out my mum’s whacky expressions!

LOL!
Father’s side! It’s huge but many couldn’t make it.
Ah Kong and Ah Ma!

Mother’s side.

Godbro and Godma!
My neighbour came and joined in too!

Vegetarian catering.

Going back to the bride’s place.

Back at the bride’s side.

The brothers entertaining Ah Ma, or flirting? Hmmm……
Family shot.

Brothers (minus Jon) and sisters group shot. When it comes to taking pictures they all go crazy!

Finally got to eat! Checked in to the hotel after this for a short rest and shower before the banquet.

Wedding Banquet at Hotel Re!

Our Gold Themed Suite complimentary from Hotel Re!, comes with complimentary fruit basket, red wine and a complimentary pre-banquet meal, which we were so hungry that we ate it up without taking any pics of it. We ordered their signature laksa. Breakfast is also served to our room the next morning. (pics taken from Hotel Re! website and our own phones.)

The bride arriving on a buggy.

The feeling while awaiting the walk-in is nerve wrecking. Our emcee for the night is Uncle Lionel, my uncle-in-law now. Interesting fact: himself and a few of his siblings used to study in the school which the hotel sits on today.

We were too busy that day so we did not have any pictures of the food. These are taken during our food tasting using my iPhone.
Cold plate combination.
Shark’s fin soup.
Cereal chicken.

Steamed Red grouper in Hongkong style.
Prawn in Chinese wine.
Braised ee fu noodles.
Mnago pudding with longan.

The brothers gave an awesomely loud and long yum-seng toast!

This two shots were taken using my phone.
And then the drinking games begin, while my wife is doing what girls do best, taking pictures!
